Using Intention To Create More Love

“In the centre” art by Brenda

“The very fact that we exist is proof that the nature of that source is creative at its core. And there isn’t a person reading this who does not have a gnawing sense inside that there’s something they’re here to do, something creative. Don’t die with your music still inside you. Listen to your intuitive inner voice and find what passion stirs your soul.” ~ Dr Wayne Dyer~

Dear friends

I hope your year is starting off in the spirit of aloha and love, with maximum ease and self care.

If you have set new year goals, it might be worthwhile to reframe them as ‘intentions’

Intention is powerful. Dr Wayne Dyer, in his book “The Power of Intention” references the unknown teachings of Lao Tzu which say, ‘Those who want to know the truth of the universe should practice the four cardinal virtues. The first is reverence for all of life. This manifests as unconditional love and respect for oneself and all other beings. The second is natural sincerity. This manifests as honesty, simplicity and faithfulness. The third is gentleness, which manifests as kindness, consideration for others and sensitivity to spiritual truth. The fourth is supportiveness. This manifests as service to others without expectation of reward.”

“You have to just be. You have to let go. You have to allow. You have to be free and make this your consciousness.”

Dr Dyer condenses these virtues into the Seven Faces of Intention:
creativity,
kindness,
love,
beauty,
expansion,
abundance,
receptivity.

He says “All seven are expressions of what I imagine that source to look like. First, the very fact that we exist is proof to me that the nature of that source is creative at its core. And there isn’t a person reading this who does not have a gnawing sense inside that there’s something they’re here to do, something creative.

I always say: Don’t die with your music still inside you. Listen to your intuitive inner voice and find what passion stirs your soul. When you do this, you’re also tapping into another face of intention: love. Just think of what a love like that can do. It lights up the whole world.”

Dr Dyer’s book ” Your Erroneous Zones” was the first self-help book I read at the age of fourteen. I’ve continued to read and listen to his work throughout my life. He was a light to many people. He passed over in August 2015, in Maui, Hawaii.

His light continues to shine.

May your love be a light in the world.

Aloha blessings
